HISTORY

2002

The founders, Thomas Teichmann and Gregor Zimmermann were researching at the University of Kassel, at the faculty of Building Materials (FB14) and Structural Design (FB6) on concrete optimization, ultra high performance concrete and structure optimization.

2002 Oct.

G. Zimmermann is developer of the new construction system called 'membrane concrete grid shells MCGS', that is patented by the University of Kassel. MCGS are a simple pneumatic membrane formwork that could be inflated and filled with uhpc.

2003 July

T. Teichmann is one of the devolpers of the 'Kasseler' ultra high performance concrete, that is patented by the University of Kassel.

2006 Oct.

First business ideas were developed.

2007 Feb.

G.tecz started as Spin-Off at the University of Kassel. The office was located in the so called 'inkubator', that is an institution of UniTransfer at the University of Kassel. The project was financed by EXIST-SEED and the European Union.

2007 Sept.

The G.tecz Teichmann Zimmermann GbR was founded. G.tecz moved into new offices and laboratories with own equipment. G.tecz is self-sufficient.

2007 Dec.

G.tecz won the first price of the 'Promotion Nordhessen' businessplan competition.

2008 Jan.

Expansion with new laboratories and staff.

2008 May

G.tecz is member of the entrepreneur board at the University of Kassel.
